The Purchasing and Facility Management department ensures the supply and management of the OBERMEYER group of companies under economic aspects.
The central purchasing department combines strategic and operative purchasing. While the operative purchasing department is responsible for the administrative and executive tasks of the daily business, the strategic purchasing department takes care of the long-term optimization of the holistic procurement processes of the group of companies.
Facility Management (commercial, technical and structural) comprises the administration and management of all building units as well as the technical facilities. This includes the organization of all maintenance work, the technical procurement of new and replacement equipment and the support of refurbishment and new construction projects.
In addition, the department is responsible for fleet and travel management as well as for service provision at the main site in Munich.
The activities of the finance department include finance and accounting, central controlling as well as group finance.
The finance and accounting team supports the companies of the OBERMEYER Group in fulfilling all tax and commercial law requirements that apply to the respective companies in Germany and abroad. This comprises ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and bank accounting), the preparation of proper annual financial statements and the management of tax matters.
The task of Central Controlling is to develop the business processes and projects of the individual companies through its information and control function. For this purpose, the team is in constant coordination with the operational controlling of the respective company.
The cross-company and cross-divisional financial topics of the OBERMEYER Group (group reporting, group liquidity planning, group accounting, corporate finance, etc.) are brought together in the Group Finance department.
The IT department manages the IT infrastructure of the OBERMEYER Group companies. In this context, it manages about 1500 PCs and notebooks, 200 servers and more than 500 application programs on the individual computers and supports the users in case of any problems arising.
In addition, the IT department supports the specialist units by managing and administering the rights to project data.
Another focus is IT security: this includes data backups, protection against malware, firewalls and access authorizations.
Corporate communications with VoIP, mobile devices, e-mail and video conferencing systems are also part of IT's range of services.
The Marketing and Communications department fills the OBERMEYER brand with life, both on the market and within the company. In order to implement various individual measures in a focused manner, marketing and PR strategies and concepts are developed.
The main responsibilities include classic press and public relations work and, accordingly, internal and external communication.
Marketing and Communications is responsible for the Group's website and social media channels.
In addition, the department also manages the visual appearance (corporate identity) of the OBERMEYER Group as well as the external appearance at events and trade fairs.
The HR department has a dual function: On the one hand, it acts as a partner, advisor and service provider for the individual companies of the group. On the other hand it is a controlling unit and therefore an advisor for the OBERMEYER Holding.
The employees of HR initiate and control the recruiting, personnel development and personnel marketing activities of the OBERMEYER companies, are responsible for payroll and HR services as well as HR controlling and advise on internal labor law issues.
The legal department supports the management in solving a wide range of legal issues. On behalf of OBERMEYER Holding it accompanies relevant contract conclusions of the group of companies, which are examined, revised, drawn up and negotiated in advance.
It consults on questions of market law, evaluates the quality of the content of subcontractor contracts and, within the framework of legal project management, secures the interests of the company in ongoing projects after the contract has been concluded.
