Flood protection Burgau

The Donauwörth Water Management Office is planning flood protection for the town of Burgau.
The project is part of the overall concept of flood protection in the Mindel valley, in which several municipalities along the Mindel are involved.

The scope of the project includes the flood retention basin with a volume of 1.3 million cubic meters, the flood protection measures within the town as well as the associated throttle and shut-off structures, railroad crossing structures, road culverts and widening of watercourses.

OBERMEYER provides the object planning up to and including the approval planning.

The planning includes the engineering structures, structural design, subsoil investigations as well as the two-dimensional flow calculations for dimensioning and verification of the structures.
