Overview

Project Silk, located in Al Ain, UAE, is home to an innovative manufacturing facility designed to produce about 900,000 pounds annually of unidirectional tape. This tape is crafted from a robust epoxy pre-impregnated carbon fiber resin system, commonly referred to as prepreg. Secured by a 20-year agreement with Boeing, the facility is committed to supplying this essential material for the assembly of Boeing's 777X series aircraft.
