Internal Usage Policy

To protect our IT systems, OBERMEYER uses the security service Zscaler. It inspects all internet access and automatically blocks certain URL categories that may pose a security or compliance risk, for example:

  • File hosting and file-sharing services (e.g. private cloud storage)
  • Adult, violent, or discriminatory content
  • Known malware, phishing, and fraud sites
  • Peer-to-peer networks and anonymization services
  • Gambling and high-risk streaming sites

What to do if a site is blocked

If a site you need for work is blocked, please open a ticket:

Please include the affected URL and a short business justification. Our IT team will review the request and unblock the site if appropriate.

Personal Internet Use

Occasional, minor personal use is permitted as long as it does not interfere with work. There is no legal entitlement to this. Further details are governed by the Company Agreement on Internet and Email Use.
