Technical Details
The project involves the redevelopment of Eleftherios Venizelos Park (Asyrmatos). The primary aim of redevelopment is to maximize the available green open space. The park currently features (playgrounds, areas for sports facilities and events) are either maintained/renovated or replaced by new structures. Specifically, the redevelopment of the park includes:
- 4 Buildings (exhibition spaces, refreshment area, sports field locker rooms, traffic education park, staff facilities for the sports field) and a water tank (total area approx. 1160 m²
- Special Areas (water features, olive groves, playgrounds, squares, workout zones, sports facilities, including tennis and football fields etc.)
- Fencing, entrances, pedestrian walkways, water element -pond, equipment, such as benches, signage, metal waste bins etc., and green areas.
The contract covers final and detailed design, including architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical designs as well as landscaping & greenery designs, building permit and tender documents. Obermeyer elaborated the structural design and tender documents. The architectural design and tender documents were elaborated by the Architects Dimitrios Pyrgakis and Danai Georgouli.
