Obermeyer China designed-Humanistic World-Class High-Tech Intelligent Manufacturing Park Fully Operational
Located in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, China – a premier hub for tech innovation, This Plot 6 project represents a strategic milestone for its brand and a new benchmark in the high-tech industry.
After years of design and construction, the world-class, high-tech, intelligent manufacturing park, which was master-planned and designed by Obermeyer, has been completed and is now in use. As a representative high-end intelligent manufacturing park in the Greater Bay Area, the project sets a benchmark for modern industrial complexes integrating R&D, production, offices and supporting facilities.

The project is in a core technology innovation area in southern China and has a total floor area of almost 570,000 m². The park is focused on the high-end electronics and information industries. It houses several high-standard intelligent factories, around 30,000 m² of office and dining space, an energy center, and auxiliary facilities. It can accommodate around 6,500 employees. It is a large-scale, intelligent, modern industrial complex. Obermeyer provided a full range of professional services, from conceptual and schematic design to construction drawing review and on-site support.
The design follows two core principles: Function First & People Oriented.
Rigid Modular Design
The project employs a modular design based on a standard 12×12-metre column grid. Facade elements and interior partitions are uniformly controlled by a 1.5-metre module to ensure efficient production spaces and the flexibility to renovate in the future.

Function-Integrated Aesthetic Facade
The factory's facade reflects its internal functions, with transparent, semi-enclosed and solid walls used to divide up the different areas. This strikes a balance between production, privacy and energy efficiency, while also taking architectural rhythm into account. It unites practicality and aesthetics.

Humanistic and Elegant Design Style
Featuring a simple orange and black palette, the facade is modern, elegant and humanistic. Respecting the local context, it integrates classic proportions and Lingnan cultural elements to achieve harmony between the classical and contemporary styles.
Eco-Friendly & People-Centered Public Space
The design preserves the area's original ecology by incorporating century-old banyan trees into a public plaza. Green corridors and centralized green spaces running throughout the park create a continuous and cohesive ecological network.

A people-friendly pedestrian system connects the central paths, entrance plazas and public spaces. Covered walkways and rest areas provide comfortable and natural spaces for communication and relaxation.

The official opening of this world-class intelligent manufacturing park is another significant milestone for Obermeyer in the development of industrial parks. With a focus on industrial park planning and architectural design, Obermeyer upholds German professional standards and a global vision. We empower industrial upgrading through innovative design and build more efficient, greener and more vibrant future industrial spaces with a people-oriented philosophy.
