National Excellent Urban Planning Awards
Two projects of OBERMEYER China have been awarded as excellent urban planning projects in Guangdong Province.
In late April, the Guangdong Territorial Spatial Planning Association announced the recommendation list for exceptional urban planning projects from 2021 in Guangdong Province, which is located in the southeast of China.
Two projects of OBERMEYER China are among them: The “Urban Design and Control Plan for the Integrated Development of Hengqin under the Great Bay Corporation” was nominated for the first recommendation rank, the “Urban Design and Control Plan for Shantou Station and the Surroundings” was for the second recommendation rank. As a result, these two projects are in the run for the National Excellent Urban Planning Projects Award.
The awarding Guangdong Territorial Spatial Planning Association is a social organization dedicated to the sustainable development of the urban and spatial planning industry in Guangdong Province.
Fingers crossed: The winning designs will be announced by the end of this year.
