On July 1, 2022, civil engineer Dr.-Ing. Karsten Gruber was appointed Managing Director of OBERMEYER Infrastruktur GmbH & Co. KG.
Karsten Gruber has extensive experience in the planning and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. He worked for international construction companies. There he primarily handled major projects in the Netherlands, England and Germany.
Since 2005, he has been responsible for the management of various companies.
In 2012, Gruber moved to Sweco GmbH, where he was appointed to the management board for the infrastructure division. He held this position until mid-November 2021. Until his move to OBERMEYER Infrastruktur GmbH & Co. KG, he worked for the company in an advisory capacity.
Joachim Ernst

Since January 1, 2024 Joachim Ernst has been Commercial Director at OBERMEYER Infrastruktur GmbH & Co. KG.
Joachim Ernst has many years of management experience in commercial positions. At the beginning of his career, he worked for an auditing company in Frankfurt am Main. This was followed by 16 years as Managing Partner at a wholesaler for medical products. After a 2-year stay in the USA, where he was a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, he joined an IT system house in Rastatt for 2 years as commercial manager.
Before joining OBERMEYER, he worked for 8 years at the Karlsruhe-based engineering company Mailänder Consult. Of these, 6 years as CFO and CIO and before that 2 years as Head of Administration and IT.
