New Head of Operations Abu Dhabi

Spiridon El Murr is part of the OBERMEYER Group since 2017.He came to OBERMEYER in the capacity of Director of Operations and joined Dr. Ing. Ioannis Kyrou (Kiru) with the management of OBERMEYER Middle East GmbH in Abu Dhabi.
Over the past five years,  Mr. Murr has successfully managed many of the company’s challenges in the Middle East, which is a proof of the company’s positive development. His declared goal is to further expand OME’s activities in the Middle East region.

Spiridon El Murr graduated with a Master in Architecture (M.Arch) and in Business Administration (MBA). He holds the title “Project Management Professional” (PMP) and is CEO Institute certified.
With more than 27 years of experience in the fields of Design and Engineering he successfully handled numerous Design & Build and EPC contracts for various projects in the Middle East, especially in the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

While complying with international standards, he managed a wide variety of projects in master planning, infrastructure, rail, roads and bridges, mixed use developements, energy and industrial facilities, underground utilities, hospitals and laboratories, as well as special projects in energy and sustainability, residential, hospitality and commercial.
