Start DRIIMing – under the banner of digitalization.

Established engineering competence meets digital transformationt: Start DRIIMing was the motto of our trade fair appearance at InnoTrans 2022.

At this year’s InnoTrans, true to the trade fair motto “The Future of Mobility”, OBERMEYER Infrastruktur presented itself as modern, future-oriented and perfectly prepared to face the challenges of the digital age.

The InnoTrans is the leading trade fair for transport technology After a four-year break, the 13th InnoTrans took place from September 20 to 23 at the exhibition center in Berlin. More than 2800 exhibitors from 56 countries presented innovative products and services to the trade public. The focus was particularly on digital solutions for rail infrastructure. The major event covered the entire exhibition grounds, and all 42 halls were occupied. Innovative technology was on display in the open-air and track areas, where new types of rail vehicles of all kinds were exhibited.

“Start DRIIMing” was the motto of OBERMEYER Infrastruktur’s successful trade fair appearance. “DRIIM” stands for Digital Railway Infrastructure and Information Management.

On three theme days focusing on “Railway”, ” Urban Transport” and “Technical Equipment”, the trade audience had the opportunity to inform themselves about the wide range of products and services offered by the company. In ten presentations corresponding to the respective focus, OBERMEYER’s specialists gave the trade visitors exciting insights into current infrastructure projects. Contacts with the main media of the branch were intensified in press meetings.

The Digital Railway Solutions Alliance (DRS Alliance), a central theme this year, attracted great interest of the trade audience. 15 leading European companies of the railroad infrastructure sector have joined forces to develop and implement holistic solutions for the future transport infrastructure using the latest tools.

There was also a very positive response for the visual appearance of the stand: modern design, clear lines, a harmonious choice of colors and digital presentation options characterized OBERMEYER’s presentation at the trade fair.

Dr. Karsten Gruber, new Managing Director of OBERMEYER Infrastructure since July 1, sums up: “Finally InnoTrans again! After years of waiting, it was great to meet up with like-minded people and interested parties again. With its very well prepared stand, OBERMEYER Infrastruktur succeeded in presenting the company’s extensive range of services as well as its excellent network with partner companies. The already traditional combination of classical engineering and modern digital methods clearly stood out from the presentations of comparable booths. The feedback at the booth and initial reactions after the trade show explicitly confirm this. My thanks go to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s trade fair. I am already looking forward to InnoTrans 2024!”
