Sewer renewal Württembergstraße

Project duration from 2012 to 2019

Client
Municipal sewage works Stuttgart (SES)

Location
Stuttgart, DE

Currently in Stuttgart, the Rotenberg and Württembergstraße area drains the accumulating wastewater and rainwater during rain events without pre-treatment via two stormwater overflows into open channels, which then channel the rainwater to the Gögelbach stream.

In the future, the water will be fed into a mixed water treatment system.

For this purpose, the pipe diameters were enlarged and a rainwater overflow channel (storage channel) with an upstream relief structure was built.

In addition, sewer renewal (DN 400-1200), pipe jacking in an S-curve (DN 1200), a storage sewer with overhead relief and an operating building were constructed under very tight inner-city space conditions, and traffic surfaces and road surfaces were renewed.

OBERMEYER provided the planning for all phases of the HOAI including construction supervision and commissioning.

The planning included the engineering structures, traffic facilities, supporting structures and technical equipment / process engineering as well as the corresponding sewer network and pollution load calculations, which were required for the dimensioning and obtaining the water law permits.
