Energy design and building climate control

We understand energy design within buildings to be the creation of fully integrated concepts for sustainable energy supply solutions. Building climate control involves an analysis of the entire ‘building’ system from its architecture through to its technical building services.

Energy design

Fully integrated energy supply concepts are devised in relation to resource conservation and the use of what the environment has to offer on the projection location. Our range of services includes:

  • Energy and CO2-neutral supply concepts for buildings and districts
  • Consultancy services for energy management in accordance with ISO 50001
  • Involvement in architectural competitions in relation to energy and technical systems

Building climate control

We pursue the objective of assuring the best possible climate for the user. To this end, we anticipate the climate control of a building in its entirety, by considering every aspect of its spectrum.

  • Simulation calculations for buildings and systems
  • Daylight and dynamic flow simulations

With dynamic programs for the thermal simulation of plant and buildings, we can simulate a building at an early stage of the design process right across all 8,760 hours of a year in such a definitive manner that improvements can then be made in terms of climate, economy and ecology.
